Thrawn is one guy, a newsletter, and a short game that's seen better days.

It started where a lot of things start: a soul-sucking 9-to-5.

The kind of job where you spend all day making things for other people and slowly stop making anything for yourself. I wanted one corner of the week that was mine. No roadmap, no manager, no quarterly anything.

Then I had a kid. Best thing ever. Also absolute chaos.

The standing Saturday tee time turned into a nap schedule. I grew up playing golf in New York. Now I live in London and barely get out. Turns out you can miss something harder once you can't get to it.

So I started opening way too many tabs.

Brands I'd never heard of. Drops I couldn't buy. Courses I wanted to play. YouTube rabbit holes. Old clubs. New ideas. Every strange and wonderful corner of golf culture I still loved even when I couldn't play. At some point there were enough tabs that they needed somewhere to go.

Thrawn is that somewhere.

A small site and a weekly newsletter with the best stuff I found that week. For people who love the game, even when life gets in the way of playing it.
